How to talk to Children about Climate Crisis

Professor Sanson’s research has featured largely on understanding and promoting social and emotional development and the wellbeing of children and adolescents. With the reality of climate change becoming clear, her attention has turned to its effects on children and young people, and how we can best support them now and in the future.

Professor Sanson will give an insight into the current science on climate change and what the research says about its impacts on young people. Teachers, parents and other adults will have outlined important steps in communicating and supporting children in this unprecedented crisis, climate change with the interactive use of zoom breakout rooms.

Teachers, parents and other adults will gain an insight and build confidence in working with children in the area of climate change.
